People in the Uranienborg area have through the history given gifts to their local church; stained glass, the altar piece, the organ and more. The congregation of today wanted to give a carillon to celebrate its 125 year and as their gift to the future. The new instrument was inaugurated at the service 13 June 2004, a few days before the 14th World Carillon Congress took place in Oslo.

This is Norway’s first carillon built with the so called world standard keyboard and the new Carillair system for automatic music.
