The carillon was a gift from Andreas Raastad. In addition to the carillon keyboard, an electro-magnetic keyboard was installed at the organ. This gave the organist possibilities to play at the organ and the carillon at the same time. It also played automatic by music rolls.

The new carillon was inaugurated 29 July 1931. Three musician shared this concert; organist Fastvold from Sandefjord, professor Becker from Potsdamer Hof- und Garnisonskirche and organist and carillonneur Rung-Keller from Copenhagen.

Today the old keyboard is still in use. An Apollo II computer is used for the automatic music.
